North African and Middle Eastern Soft Customs
« on: March 15, 2010, 02:03:23 »
Here are some soft customs I've created to be allies and/or enemies of my Romans, Egyptians, and Crusaders.  Each faction consists of a king, queen, a standard bearer, a signaler, and two soldiers.  I have 40 of each soldier type (except I only have 20 of the brown clothed faction), but didn’t want to set them all up at this time.  The various factions aren’t supposed to be from any specific group, but could be from any number of groups in North Africa and/or the Middle East.

First are some soft customs that I previously posted in another thread.  They are variations on the Roman Legionary Special, one of the wise men, and a female from a Magic Castle Theme set.  The cataphract could be Parthian, Sassanid, or Armenian, while the others could be any of those or Hatrene, Palmyrene, Persian, Assyrian, Hittite, Mitanni, or something else.

Second are some soft customs based on the Centurion and Cleopatra Specials.  Like the above customs, they could be Parthian, Sassanid, Armenian, Hatrene, Palmyrene, Persian, Assyrian, Hittite, Mitanni, or something else.

Third are some soft customs based on the Arab Warrior Specials and one of the wise men.  They could be anything Arabian, or North African, like Garamantes.

Fourth are some soft customs based on the Palace Guard Special, one of the wise men, and a contemporary female.  They could be Ethiopians or something else.

Fifth are some soft customs based on the Zulu Warrior Special and the woman from the new African Add On sets.  Based upon their animal skin shields and attire and lack of armor and fine cloth, they appear to be more primitive than the other cultures represented.  They could be Nubians or something else.
