Hello my Friend  :wave:

This wonderful Grand Victorian Theatre is Sarrat's masterpiece and work so only he can answer this question but Hamlet's statue is indeed beautiful and very realistic as he recreated the grain of the stone !

He has also created a grand chandellier from scratch which is an achievement of its own !

I wander if he actually used any real stone grain...maybe a similar material... Would it be possible to ask him of the actual material and method and let us know??
The chandellier is indeed a craft of beauty!!!

what a treat to see the progress.  i too love the statue, the texture and color is wonderful.  i also like the chandelier.  and the molding.  wow, this is quite an undertaking. thank you for taking the time to share this.

The chandelier is awesome!!!!
Give our congrats to Sarrat please Karim!

@Panos: the statute I believe was made with a spray product. There are some products in Argentina with that stone finishing. You just spray the thing you want to turn into stone, like paint. It leaves a thick coat so a lot of details are lost, like Sarrat's statue, but the result is very believable!
