Also, does anyone have any good tips for assembling them ...

This might be of some help, Flatcat.

Thanks Richard, I actually got an original paper one of these that came in with it all - but I still don't know how to get the front pillars in without snapping them ???
They just don't seem to fit the holes in the baseboard/floor  :-\

Hmmm ... they should just slip in easily ...  ;D

Maybe this "close-up" picture will help.

Problem solved ;)
After closer inspection, the bottom of the posts still had a very small amount of sprue left on the bottom, which i have just filed off, and they now go in, although still quite a tight fit - but at least it shouldn't fall apart :)

GREAT !!! Love it when a mystery is solved ...

Interesting that the former owner wouldn't have realized that there was a problem ...  8}

Hi

Good thing the last owner did not force it in and break it off. You got a great lot for a reasonable price. I would not have passed on this deal either. I so wish more banks were sold in the US, our used market is pitiful.

That lot seems so cheap and on ebay of all places. Ebay is not know for too many bargains.

...

This fire engine turned out to be in very good ondition as well - can anyone tell me what pieces are supposed to go with this set please. I have found a few firemen that go with it.

I'll email you the plans.  Let me know of any parts missing as I may have spares.

I seem to have lost/not got your email address. PM me it or email me.

Hi Flatcat, that is a fantastic haul, how come whenever something is 'collection only' it's never near me.
Love the western bank, I've been wanting one of those for ages with no luck.  I've just won a sheriff's office (new version) not quite complete so I'm going to try to customise that instead.
Like the ship too - are you still looking for parts for your other ship? I haven't forgotten about looking for parts for you, just not had time lately!

I seem to have quite good luck with 'collection only', as I once got a complete 3666 castle (and my current incomplete pirate ship) for a meer £5.50.

As for my other ship, no, I havent got the rest of my parts yet, but I will probably try and order them from DS in my next order. Annoyingly I missed seeing a lot of ship parts on ebay that were litteralty all the structual parts I needed to finish it, and they only went for £3.88 or something (page jumping now 8})

Just realised that I have put the signs for the banks and saloon on in the wrong place :-[

I seem to now have around 20 all blue fixed hand Klickies and quite a few blue with yellow arms - does anyone know where these all come from (I think the blue ones maybe firemen ???)
