Thank you Peetje!
Troy and 300? :hmm:
No the greatest movies, historically acurate wise.
Action and stuff is good, but when I watch a movie it has to be accurate.
(Just a little quirk of mine... 8})

Unfortunately, almost no movies are historically accurate, just the nature of Hollywood.  300 is still a tight movie though.  I would LOVE to see a Greek theme, but would PM put out such a similar theme to the Romans at a time they seem to be phasing them out? I hope. :prays:

Gladiator was an ok movie.

You are probably right about the Greeks El Jefe...
Playmobil will probably not put more guys like the Romans in if the Romans didn't do well. :'(

... if the Romans didn't do well. :'(

But, did the Romans do well or not? Does anyone know how well the Romans sold?

It seems that TRU online sold completely out of their Egyptian stock!

And, with all the Roman "spin-offs", it appears that there were at least twenty-eight different Roman sets ...  :o

I thought the Romans would have sold well too, but someone (I forget who) posted somewhere (I forget where) that the Romans did not sell well and he apparently had some inside information from Playmobil.

Hmmm ...  ^-^

Sorry to read that, Justindo ...

Don't wait too long, WoT!

The only two Roman sets that are left in Playmobil's German website are 7878 and 7879!

Don't worry Richard! ;D
The only sets I need now are the "new" specials comming out...
Number 4659 to be exsact.
And since there are still the legionnaires on the German website I can stock up on those at my leisure. :)
I was going to build up a cool Roman city with the colloseum and some houses...
but I am afraid that is no longer possible, :(
unless I get a part time job sometime very very soon... like this week.

This is true.  I love "300" as inaccurate as it is!

How about a movie about the March of the 10,000?  The 1979 cult movie "The Warriors", based on ancient Greek general and historian Xenophon's "Anabasis," is a fun film, but a movie depicting the actual story would be great.

"Oh, Warriors...come out and playaaaayyyy!"
CARPE KLICKY!
