I think toasts are not only aesthetically good  but also give extra rigidity to  steck buildings. They are many on ebay and prices are low so its not ( yet ) a problem finding them ...

they have to come from somewhere as they are loose.. anyways not a hard part to find , i have enough for twice the steck i have.. i guess i need more steck !!!!

... and i just bought 14  complete nuremberg guards, my all time favourite , there will be added to the city hall guard .... 5 of each type of the following :
