loving this thread george and waiting to see how you make your archers look. you must have your own personal goldmine to be buying this much playmos!  :lol:

I awaiting a DS order to arrive for 120 long bows, i dont have that many back tubes with arrows so i need to find more on ebay , should be able to set around 50 or so archers that will be based on one of the standard black lion soldier ( probably the bellied one  :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:)

I have about 25 x 3651 cross bow men with large shields , they are in my castle somewhere will take better pcis next time

all of them .. i have about 10 playmo chests full of them mostly the non shiny ones  ;D ;D ;D ( see the pic of the attic in Krull's royal quarters earlier in this thread  :love: :love:

Those back tubes=quivers. You know, in medieval wars, the bowmen used to stick their arrows in the ground in front of them, to sustain a higher rate of shooting by sparing movements. Besides, a quiver would only hold a dozen arrows or so, which is rather few compared to the hundreds they could shoot in a single battle. Quivers were mostly useful for bow hunting, or for the crossbowmen who had an inferior shooting rate.

Playmobil DS didnt have any of hte dark yellow quivers i am after , i am gonna have to find and buy quite a few for my 100 black lion archers.... i have ordered and they are on their way about 120 large bows but i need these quivers also ....  :'( :'( :'(
