very impressive town. nice to see it come alive with the klickys.

just one suggestion. wouldn´t it be good to have 2 openings in the middle of the table to possition the klickys ? i know this from big train modeling dios. i find it hard to position the klickys in a dio bigger than 2x2 meter.

best regards

I arricved back from the mountain house where i was since friday and i went to the playmoden early saturday. we had a few problems with some pine trees from the recent heavy snowfall, one 30yrs old pine tree was destroyed  :sorrow: :sorrow: :sorrow: :sorrow: :sorrow: :sorrow: :sorrow: :sorrow:

a couple of others were damaged and i spent saturday morning helping them out, put some support beams etc to bring them back at a good angle. As a result i couldnt spent a lot of time at the den however some progress has been made ! Hopefully next weekend i will have an entire day at the den.

The grip arm is FANTASTIC !!! can pick up very easily klickies and very small items , it has helped me so much to put klickies and items at the centre of this wide table design.!!! I attach some pictures to show you how it works !!!! Apart from playing with the grip, i set up another shop ( making carpets ) and also a couple of wagons in the city . Still waiting for the 3449 Museum to set next to the 3444 . I also set up a couple more klickies. I put a couple of angled Steck parts where the soldiers stand in the front wall ( still some to more to place there ) and put Krull' 22 large catapults ( i have roman and wolf knight ones and dragon ones about another 20 ) inside the city at the wall, the only place they can be fit . It tool me about 40 min to find in the massive pile the boulders and the fires !!!! So i took a pic of them too !!! I set up the throne room and started doing some work at the royal quarters. I also set up some Nuremberg guards on the outside and also the Queen and the women of the Royal Court around her and also the small fountain which I unboxed today... Time run out quickly so i had to come back to Athens etc. My mind is still at the Den might take a day off work next after next weekend to allow me to make some serious progress still so much to set and also still to unpack the vikings/gauls and the dragonland . Hopefully next time the city wil be complete and many more klickies will be set in the barracks etc etc including the horsed knights which becuase of their number i wouldl liek to think will be quite something to look at ... anyways here are a few pics of the ' Playmo Gripper' and the progress so far !!!

.. and still an entire pile to set , hundreds of trees and still to unpack the vikings/gauls and the entire dragonland series with the additional green and red dragonland soldiers.....

I'va also spotted the 1600 (or is it a 1800) BMW racing car model ;)

hmmm... now that I look at its curves a bit better, is it an old series 7?

Its the famous ' Batmobile' which is not a 7er but the 1973 CSL 3.0. I sued to have about 60 BMW M cars 1:18 models but i sold them all when i sold my real BMWs and left Britain for Greece , I have kept  4 of them but unfortunatelly they are all badly damagaed but i dont want to throw them away. ...

well spotted Sir, shame really all the rest of my playmobil, lego, tente, playbig , matchbox car, Advanced Dungeons and Dragons, smurfs  sets and actions figures are all in boxes or hidden you would have plenty to spot Sir !!! But sometime in early 2012 i will put all my playmobil and other toys in plastic see through containers etc etc  ;)
