Every square centimeter used up.  ;D

Reminds me of my at the moment suspended byzantium land walls project.

A suggestion: you might consider mounting a few towers on the outside of the walls.

A suggestion: you might consider mounting a few towers on the outside of the walls.

I have thought of that , creating square towers protruding to the outside and therefore creating more angles and top areas for defence , but i wanted to maximise the usage of space and its already taken up and always liked long steck straight walls. I shall be getting soon another order of steck parts in the order of another 1500 parts , I realize i needs twice as much space for building properly the design i have in mind with another set of walls on the outside and teice as big the town space. That wont be happening till late 2011 so meanwhile i have to compromise with this available area ...

When i have more space i will build the outside wall with lots of square towers ( i have over 24 left ) and they shall be protruding from the outside wall giving the design an even more byzantine look , more of an Emperor's Theodosious Wall fortifications of the Constantinoupole. That I am afraid wont be happening now, space is already limited god nows how i will sqeeze on the other table the 5 dragons kingdoms , the forrest, mary men, the magic and the animals and of course the vikings /gauls and their ships !!!! Need more space . and more nuremberg guards !!!

A piece of advice!

Lower the inner round towers. There are too tall without a meaning.May a level higher than the outer towers.I love the keep's section outer wall with the big floor you can add a level up to the inner wall.
keep the good work George!

You have not show us the main gate!!

          .. tall round towers are cool !!!!

Inner round towers stay at that level and might add another one in fact i have the steck for it ... inner wall i want to keep one level otherwise it looks abit claustophobic i think especially the kings quarters... the main gate is shown Sire in one of the pictures, there are two gates and above are 6 boulder release defence mechanisms , i will take a couple more pictures next time !!!!

Need more space and more steck !!!!

Actually I agree with Grangel,
they look a little awkward sticking out of the middle like that,
way above anything else around them...
Besides, you could make lots of smaller round towers if you took those apart. :)
Steck is BACK! <:>

I might put these round towers at the point where the barracks are separated by the city and on the outerwall , and put a couple of lower round towers inside .... i think i need some round tower walls to build more round towers and there is no way i am lowering these towers i really like them !!!!  ;D ;D ;D ;D

I am not so sure about going double heigh stecks in the inside walls also.. i have the steck for it but i think it will look all too claustophobic .... will give it some thought when at playmoden next !!!!

Now that Grangel and WoT have said it I have to agree that the tall internal towers look weird, but its your castle so keep doing what you're doing.

If I had the Steck I would love to have a go at making a castle like Beaumaris in Wales.  it is a classic concentric castle - a castle within another outer wall.  Has anyone had a go at this?

Its not far from the design i shall create once i have a bit more space when i shall build an outer wall with at least 24 square towers on it and a number of gates that is yet to be determined , probably 4 , one on each side ....

Anyways , back to the original topic of this thread , hopefully this Friday /Saturday the steck houses will be set into the city and start allocating the army into the barracks etc etc  ;D ;D ;D ;D
