Hello all,

Just got back from my weekend at my playmoden and my holiday mountain home (-1 deg !!) .  there were about 5 boxes uponeded of steck parts and various bits i bought recently. cant really walk anymore with all these klickies and bits. need more room and i cant see fitting all my tress anywhere no way , still have the 5 dragon kingdoms to set and the vikings pretty much impossible  to set all these. BUT i will have set my Medieval kingdom of Krull, the Royal Quarters and Treasure, the Royal Jousting , the Royal Guard, the Army barracks, the engineering army sections, the Knights quarters, the prison ( all in the Castle) Plus the City with all of its residential houses, its shops, mayors house and city guard and the open market . This weekend i managed after spending about 12 non stop hours in the den ( 8am-8pm on Saturday ) to short my steck and finish my entire outside wall perimeter . need a couple of fortifications elevated from 3667 ( i thought i had enough    ) and a couple of other bits. it was a very busy 12 hours and i decided after the advice inf act of fellow playmofriends Wolf Knight and Playmojager to two two levels on the outside wall. I have been left with over 100 steck walls and many may steck pieces ( over 16 square towers etc ) and i havent got enough space to set another outside wall with other gates etc and many square towers as i wanted byt space has put a limit. There is always the next set up i will do in 2012 though.  i pretty much run  out of two and three way steck connectors also  !!! As i say there is never enough steck ! not that ago i bought 50 3 way connectors and 99 two way connectors, still few left afetr all these walls. In the rear wall and the front wall you can see i incorporated two levels of defenses with lower level through small wall halls. I am really pleased i followed the advice and went two levels up all round the castle looks so much more impressive and will over 1000 strong army in it and over 30 catapults i dare say its impossible to conquer in playmobil terms . Anyways i will stop bragging about the monstrocity i have created , a few more details and minor changes will take place and then i shall clear up the remaining steck, build the 35 or so houses ( i hope they fit !!! ) and start unpacking all the klickies i have ( over 700 unopened ) and also solve the mystery how big King Iseroth's Army will be after all ( in combined forces ) i have a feeling it will be over 1800 by now but still not sure.... Anyways  back to steck , i have taken quite a few pictures and here is a selection of them , if there is interest i will post some more. Going to two levels was a decision i didnt made lightly  and for those who wonder Playmobil business and my set ups i take pretty much as seriously as my job/career and i seriously mean that. Two levels present some limitations but also aesthetics and defence capability muiltiplis, big decision though. At various sections at all outside and inside walls i have steck walls that collapse an important details for my summer photostory of the 5 dragons kingdoms invasion with the support of the vikings/gauls. On a short break during my steck building i went out to get a bottle of water and at that nearby cornershop i also found a bought that playmobil magazine with the red dragon knight .. niiiice .... back to steck nothing would have been possible without the parts that Gordon bought for me and sent me , a big thanks to him , without his help nothign would have been possible at that level and shame i have run out of space and couldnt set another outside wall ( next time ) . Big lesson of this weekend : There is never enough space but also ' There is never enough Steck!!!'. Enjoy  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D... The set up measures i think 41x 28 steck lengths by looking at these pictures  if anyone can verify that i would appreciate it i always get confused with round towers and such counts  :-[... if its that then it means footprint is 41x28= 1148 'steck square meters ' ...

Next time there will be steck houses, flags and banners ( lots of them 0 and hopefully start displaying all the kingdoms army and city people. after that the forrest, the 5 dragon kingdoms and their castles and armies and the vikings... lots to do still
