old station soooooo cute!!

i have some bad news and some good news.
first the bad, my son is more into Lego...........
The good is that i have started to make some photos of the sets i´m trying to sell (see above) and i was tempted to make sort of a scene with the old station (see below)
I'm amazed every time how much i like those old sets! I mean the colours are so simple, just plain primairy colours yellow, red, white etc... No pink, no pastels, brilliant!!

Hi Arab Warior

I think I just do not understand where the "Good News" is. Selling some of your collection may be good for people who are looking for the sets you have but I do not see this as good for the individual collector such as yourself. 

We too have a son who adores his Legos  :-\(the brain washing did not do the trick, yet) so we just collect both. Playmobil of course takes up way more room  ;D

Excellent pictures Rob! I agree with you regarding the simplicity & colors! Those were the good ol' days!

Lovely scene. I did you repaint the hotdog stand? I thought it only existed in blue. If your selling I'm very interested in that train if it still works. So please PM me if you are selling that train.

Thanks for all the feedback!

As far as good news goes...... i meant that i finally found some time to take some pictures, something i haven´t done before.
I´m selling all of my own collection, not very good news for me of course, but i started collecting for my son and this way i can try to buy some nice sets for him.

Oh I do wish you were closer to the US. I have a feeling you have some great sets that I would love to have. Any pictures you take of you collection would be great to see.

no i don´t use ebay, but marktplaats.nl
and it´s so much fun (and time consuming) to set it all up, find the right pieces, trying to remember where you left them 8}
i will try and make another scene this sunday :camera:
