Name that plant
« on: February 02, 2010, 01:20:02 »
Junior got some new rocks and jungle bits  this week so we had a great time designing some new plants ........

Work in progress ..... helped by the cats of course!

Junior's Fire Root

Mum's Paddle Plant

Junior's Drumstick Orchids

The Banana Fern

Now we need Sven to tell us how to look after them!

It looks like we have some real Playmobil green thumbs here for sure! Beautiful creations, Elaine!
Forget about all of the other stuff,....all we need is the reintroduction of the 3526 Fire Engine!

Hi Skypurr

The plant named Junior's Fire Root, we have a plant like that and it is called a Red Hot Poker/Torch Lily or Kniphofia uvaria

Great customs, Elaine.

In our garden we have a plant rather like the fire root (although not a red hot poker); unfortunately, I don't know its name!    :-[  (As gardeners, we've always been more veg and soft fruit.)

Mum and I have been creative again this night, but Mum seems to have lost the plot completely - some of her designs included a potty plant, a bellows plant, a plant with a baby instead of a flower and a plant with a wheel in it......  ??? ???
Here's a some new plants we made that aren't as farfetch'd.....

You can give them names!
More to come...

Those are really cool creations you two!! Way to go. :)
I love all the plants and stuff, and I, too, was inspired by Sven for trying new mixes.

Looking forward to more pictures. :)
