PCFD District 1 Station 2 update.
« on: January 31, 2010, 21:37:45 »
This is an update describing the new apparatus & personnel assignments for Playmobil City Fire Department District 1 Station 2 officially known as Station 12. There are 2 new engines E122, E123, & Heavy Rescue HR127 that are new apparatus assigned to this station. The original units; Engine E121, Tower Ladder TL124, Arson Investigation Unit 129, SUV 1281, Specialty Trailer ST12A, both WSRRT units, & PCEMS Medic 12 are still assigned to this station. The 2 Fire Fighting ships FFS11 & FFS12 at Playmobil City Port & Harbor are still under Station 2 command. As stated in the original PCFD District 1 Station 2 description, Station 2 protects the area in west Playmobil City that is highly industrialized & home to Playmobil City Port & Harbor in the Great Lakes Region.

I hope you enjoy the revised Station 12 pictures.

Great pictures as always Bill! That is an awful lot of personnel, would this be considered a large station? Thinking of the logistics of supporting that many people and the diversity of equipment (repair and maintenance) is mind boggling.  8} Thanks for the photos and the update.

Thank you for the first positive review Gepetto  ;D! To answer your question, this would be considered a model extreme fire department that few areas would be able to support currently, or afford unless the tax revenue was used only for this purpose! That's why I like Playmobil,....anything is possible  :P!

Hi Bill

That is quite an impressive collection you keep. I really like how well organized and consistent your crew are. Your background wall is perfect for these pictures.

Thanks for sharing your beautiful rescue collection

If you hear the sound of the bell which will tell you that Grigori has been killed, if it was your relations who have wrought my death, then no one in the family will remain alive. They will be killed by the Russian people. :prays:

A very comprehensively equipped station, Bill, and excellently presented.  I like the way you've made use of the photographic possibilities with the evening sun.

Great set up, very thorough. I assume Playmobil City must have a river or is on a shore since they have the boats. We have one such in my city here.
My town and the larger one next door (Springfield and Eugene OR) are merging their EMS departments into a single unit. My guess is that the Chiefs want to move towards a separate taxation district for EMS. Tax levies specific to EMS and Police typically pass while broader city levies don't.

WOW! I wish that we had a fire department like yours in the US Virgin Islands!
(Bill, maybe you should come down and organize them.) ... ;)

This is our entire "fire department" ...

Thank you Gordon for the positive review! I must confess that the pictures were actually taken @ 2:30 AM & were the results of lighting experimentation  :-[!
