The dragon's scorching lair
« on: January 17, 2010, 13:55:21 »
After using some special blue film ("fantasy film") for water in some other photos, stealing borrowing some red film from Mum's craft room gave me inspiration for this firey dungeon - enjoy.....

If you're wondering, i used the film to cover the camera lens.

Nice effect! I can feel the heat haze shimmering the air!

Is that a seam of crystals running from front to back?

Will there be adventurers trying to steal into the cave?

Hi Jr S.

What a neat effect you created using you "borrowed" film. What looks like imperfections in the photo actually ad to the heat effect. Nice job  :wow:

You know Martin, that's given me an excellent idea for a photo story! Unfortunately I've got school tomorrow, so i probably won't have time.
Thanks for all your positive comments guys, I'll have to encourage Mum to make some of her own!

Mum's too busy tidying up after him, doing his washing, etc. etc. etc.!!
