Parts for 3940 pirate ship
« on: January 16, 2010, 09:24:28 »
Hi,
Like Rasputin, I am trying to complete a 3940, that is missing lots of structural parts - I have pretty much all the accessories but just missing large pieces such as rigging etc, and the stickers. Are all these parts still available rom DS, as the set is only 10 years old ???

Also, because the instructions do not have quantities, how many yellow trays of cannon balls are there supposed to be (just one, or one for each cannon?)

Thanks
Damo

Do you have plans - if not, I can send you them.

It is one tray per cannon, the triangular yellow one is the correct one.

I may have a set of stickers; I'll try and have a look this weekend.

I have a spare set of stickers; PM me your address and I'll post them to you.

If you would, you can help me?  You have the mega farm set I think.  Please would you let me know the parts which make up the large storage shed - the part numbers and the quantity of each part?  Item 7438 in the DS catalogue is based on this shed, but I'm sure just buying the parts loose through DS will be cheaper than buying the 7438.

Here is a pic of my ship so far - I have got the weight, sails, and accessories, just the main rigging parts left to go  :)
