Great review. My guess is that the SysX connection spot on the rollbars is for a light bar of some sort

rasputin i noticed the same thing, this poor little klickie with his sky blue hat will never get out on the lake.  fortunately the fishing lodge klickies have proper canoe paddles (x2) that allow them to grip the paddle at the end with one hand and part way down the shaft with the other hand, and allow them to paddle and feather in the proper manner.  kaethe

Hi Kaethe

Though Playmobil box art design team does not seem to know how to properly paddle a canoe or secure one on top of a rack at least the contents department knew which paddles to include. It came with two 30 05 7900's

Maybe this is the adorably cute fella that got laughed off the lake with his unorthodox hat & rowing style's to the point even his dog left him

I just got this set today, I was disappointed when I dropped by Target in early Jan to find this one sold out. Thankfully I was lucky today. The box seems huge for a set of this size, it could have easily fit one the same size as the Vet SUV, I guess Target wanted to have the box to take up as much visual space as possible.

I like your idea for the gun racks too, I wish playmo had included the clips as shown. Nothing like driving around with your hunting rifle only to have it go off because you didn't secure it.

You really do a great review, Ras!  ...

I saw this set at the Target here in Fort Lauderdale the day before yesterday. However, since I also really wanted sets 5884 and 5890, I had to make a tough decision.

Hi Richard

Well hopefully the set will be there till December. There should be some sales on it closer to that date but do keep in mind that last year (2009) Target ran out of a lot of Playmobil and some members were left high and dry.

Thanks for that very good advice, Ras!

Last year I waited too long to buy sets 4775 and 5836. Fortunately, I was able to order them on line from Target.
