I do not know how well you're in tinkering...

You have to adapt here a lot, cause it's not made for playmobil wagons.
But this will work out somehow, if you can tinker a little.

Gorge,
If you put two controllers on to the same track they will short out if the positive and negative or on the opposite rails. The track will have to be isolated if you want them to run separate locomotives at different speeds and direction.
Before you set up a large layout set up a small one of just a few pieces of track and see if it works. 4375 is able to run a double header. Are you rely wanting to run all you locomotives behind each other?

Hi,
we had the discussion about two transformers in this thread:
http://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?topic=8373.msg152088#msg152088

George should be aware about this serious risk.

Thanks Guys, i will be very carefull , i have already set up a track of about 15m in lenghh with the 4052, next set up will be a large track of about 50m in total length and will be controlled by the LGB Jumbo unit i just bought .

i have a few questions about the jumbo unit, can it hurt the 4052 train, can it make it faster that the standard controller i have ? can i use all of its features with out harming the 4052 ? i have a few more questions but will read the manual first ( i ahve downloaded it ) . i paid a lot of money , a very lot for the JUMBO ( please dont tell me it wasnt neccessary as i have bought and paid for it now ) , i really want to learn how to use it and use it to control the 4052 ( and will get a 4051 also  but use isolators and run it with a different transformer probably will see.....

 :) :) :) :) :) :)

1. Read the instructions of the Jumbo carefully. If there are any questions, ask here... (I know, you will do ;) )
2. To test it, you don't need 15m of track, a circle or oval would be enough.
3. Did you buy this LGB 50100? It has 10 A (you can run with it 10 motors or locos with 1 motor or 5x 4052...) at 24 V!!!  8}  :o
You have to pay attention with this transformer!!! The locos are very fast at 24 V (faster isn't better), but they aren't that very long. I would not threw full voltage on the tracks, only a little more than half (half = 12 V, => ~14 V), that's important for the life of the motors!! The playmobil motors are made for 14 V only.

It might be easier to buy an inexpensive LGB car (used on ebay) and use that as your cleaning car. That's what I do for my Playmo train layout. I use a flatcar and weight it with rocks to get the tracks clean...
What's the point of going, if you can't get there on a train?

This would also be my proposal, I am using a tank car with these cleaners.

Hello to the train experts who have been bombarded with questions from Giorginetto the past few weeks !!!  ;D ;D ;D

and here is another one for you

What is the best material to use to polish the LGB tracks , someone told me its good to use ' GLANOL ' Metall Politur . Is that any good for the LGB tracks, will it casue any troubles if the tracks are used outdoors ???

Hi,

no need to polish tracks.

If you want to CLEAN them, many garden railyway users are usind this:
http://www.vileda.de/de/products/show/1903?hotspot_id=475

I expect this "Wischmop" is available all across the world.

As Fluid use water or if the tracks are really dirty simple alcohol like spirit.
