Thanks for advice!

I already started the eBay thing....
And today I went to a local toy store and they had 30% off on all toys, including Playmobil (that is RARE!). So... I accidently bought a couple... well,... a few boxes. oops.

What did I get myself into??? lol

P.S.: Fiance already gives me the "OMG" look... but I'm a little bit saved by the fact that HE likes remote control helicopters. Ok so we're both feeding the child inside of us. :p

Hi Feather  :elf:

   One vital point Bill is forgetting to mention is that despite how large his Rescue Theme collection is and may have cost, it is nowhere near the amount that one would spend on therapy as the alternative  :lol:

   I know for myself when I am felling a bit "off" a couple blue boxes and I am as good as new  :P

lol...... When feeling blue, go blue?   I like that. :)

Well, I can relate. "Opening up" after hiding my interest for so many years has done wonders for me. Why not be myself with all my likes and dislikes? I have no reason to hide. With that behavior, I have been feeling so calm and content.

New pictures to come within a day or two. :)

My wife seems to think I need therapy funded by selling off my collection ::)! My answer to that,....NEVER  :no:!

Your pictured collection is worth far more than all psycho therapies in the world. Great collection i must say always loved the modern stuff , never bought too much of it though as i am ' glued' to mediaval primarily and followed by pirates, western and recentl,y roman

The only evidence showing half of my fire department collection is in the story telling board here on Playmofriends, known as Playmobil City Fire Department District 1 Stations 1,2,3,4, & there is a mirror collection known as PCFD District 2 that has never been shown.

A very nice collection and presentation Feather, thank you for sharing this with us! Like everyone else has already said, it is nice to remember the time when our collections would fit on a single table and all of it could be put out at once.  :D

My collection no longer fits on one small table...  :P

Here are some pictures of my new setting.

The idea is that a family of rangers have a little house/shack in the forest where they spend most of their Springs/Summers/Falls. They make sure wild animals are healthy and such. If animals are hurt, they bring them to the shack so they can heal them. Sometimes, they have friends coming over to help. The family can spend weeks at a time there. They grow a lot of their food and gather eggs from their chickens.


Two men getting ready for an expedition in an almost unknown part of the great forest.


Ranger's wife preparing lunch for the families.


Two friends helping by bringing the rowboat to the water. The rangers will need it for their expedition.


A girl releasing a badger back into nature after it has healed from its injuries.
