Looking good!

What are the external dimensions of your current set up? I'm planning on having a tabletop area 6' wide x 18' long eventually, but I want to retain some space around the castle or city walls too, so that besieging armies can have room to manouvre.

That's a great size, Martin!

6' x 18' is just about the same length of the tabletop that I had in my first Playmoroom back in Houston.

It was large enough for a Playmobil/LGB train layout (with turnouts), a town and lots of other stuff.

Martin, I too am planning on having a 6' x 18' surface for my Playmobil dioramas, which should be enough room for most projects, but I have some more organizing to do before I can set up all the tables for this.  I was able to assemble a 6' x 9' surface, which was enough for my Roman fortress, but did not leave room for the besiegers or anything else.

About 6' x 10.5' - that'd be too big for my table if I want any area outside the city walls.

I'm going to have to be less ambitious if I want more than one thing on the tables!

A 6' x 18' table is HUGE ...  :woohoo:

You can get a lot of train and scenery into a 6' x 18' space!
So, with (or without) train, you have a lot of space, Martin!

i am looking to buy large plastic tables with removable legs to save space whennot needed .. looking at 6 ( at least ) of 120cm x 80cm , hopefully that will be enough...

Pretty much the same plan here.

I will have a 12ft x 24ft room to use for my Playmobil, and want to retain a 3ft corridor around all sides the tabletop for access (with a couple of wheeled swivel chairs). That leaves 6' x 18' for the tabletop, which will comprise six collapsible tables each 3' x 6'.  These will be removed or rearranged as required, and hopefully sturdy enough that a hip-nudge won't knock over all the figures.

In addition there are cupboards along both long walls for storage of boxes.
