Medieval Collection - pre set pictures
« on: December 21, 2009, 10:01:11 »
Hello all

Have been setting my mediaval collection since yesterdsay , pretty much full time. Yet to arrive later today all my Vikings ( 4 drakkars, lots of foot soldiers ), a 3667 complete and lots of loose steck ( 300 or so)  and the kings army with the pikemen, swordmen, horsed knights, archers   about 600 more klickies to arrive and lots of horses !!! . Thought to put here some pictures, the mess really before setting up!! You can see the steck parts ( still some more to come ) , the  2 barons castles 4 siege towers, cant see the 7 catapults ,  about 350 soldiers, then on the table some old klickies, town stuff and animals, magic , then the 23 houses, 4  towers, trees . I wil be posting lots of pictures laters when its all set, i estimate to have it ready mid january. I will be putting these klickies and all the others in a storage room which is being prepped as we speak, will be putting all you will see in large tables with green thin carpets ( and blue ) and have everything on display. But for the time being i couldnt resist so i will be putting it everything mediaval out in between my furniture lol !!!!!

Beautiful collection Giorginetto  :wow:! You have all of my personal favorites, Steck, timber houses, 7076 large oak trees, &,.......too much more to name  8}! Are you going to set these collections up & use them in photo stories here  :crossed:?
Forget about all of the other stuff,....all we need is the reintroduction of the 3526 Fire Engine!

Yeap, only i cannot do this in the house these pictures are taken because as much as i would love to have klickies round me all times it is not a good idea for many reason . But  i am setting them now for some nice pictures and then i will reset them in a store area i have , will buy some large tables and put them all on display, also the romans, western  ( inclusing some very old sets ) and pirates i have ( 3 large islands 12 ships all together 1981- 2005)... When i have all the mediaval sets ready will take pictures. There will be  a large castle  with 4 big gates with internal walls and separations , with an Acropolis for the king , town centre with shops , barracks for the kings army ( about 500 klickies ) , I estimate 5m2 surface area. There will be a small forrest with pine trees with a collection of animals and  a part with oak trees where the outlaws will be ( robin hood and co) . Also, a part for magic fairies , elfs etc . Behind the forrest will be the dragon knights , with towers, steck castle,  with a flying squadron of green dragons. Also allies to them will be the basilisk knights with their seige towers and equiment . On the other side beyond what i consider sea in my living room , the vikings with their drakkars . when i set them on tables will definitely make some photo stories !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Giorginetto  :elf:

Looks like you have a very fun task ahead of you. That is quite an impressive pile of Medieval Playmobil you have amassed. The way you put your Timbered houses on the rug is similar to how they are building houses in our neighborhood. You can barely put a garbage can in between them and still have room to walk by. Thanks for the pre-pictures of your set up.

If you hear the sound of the bell which will tell you that Grigori has been killed, if it was your relations who have wrought my death, then no one in the family will remain alive. They will be killed by the Russian people. :prays:

Here is the latest pictures, some on the floor are western so i got to separate them . Actually i could say i feel stressed seeing them all like this. I am off today for holidays , back in about a week, once back will set them up. I also need to wait for a 3667 , 3652, 3659, 3859, and a pile of loose steck. Post is moving very slow in europe it seems , been waiting for the loose steck  parts since 7th dec !!!

Anyways, hope its ok to post pre set pictures, here are the latest. i promise the next ones will be with all the klickies set and everything !!!

I will first short it all out , then with all the steck available build a large castle with the town houses in , 4 gates, 4 corner round towers and 12 square smaller towers and seprate acropolos for the king and for the barracks...
