Retail optimism, go blue
« on: November 22, 2009, 23:23:37 »
Hello PlaymoFriends

Looks like our local paper (that really is not paper anymore but digital) did a story about shopping for the holidays and guess what picture they used . Thats right one with lots of blue in it  ;) All those fools in the picture need to do is put the Thomas down and turn around  . I wonder how people will do on this years Black Friday ? I know I am pretty much done for the kids. All I have to do is shop for the most important person in my life and that I better keep happy  ;) ( Happy wife happy life )

If you hear the sound of the bell which will tell you that Grigori has been killed, if it was your relations who have wrought my death, then no one in the family will remain alive. They will be killed by the Russian people. :prays:

I just returned from the local Toys R Us to get my daughter a new bicycle for her birthday and stopped by the Playmobil isle for myself. Wanted to get some Egyptians for myself and for the future of my 7 month old son. Not one box was to be found and all of the other lines were thinned out as well. I think more and more people are buying this product.  ;D

At least three of my Facebook friends were out on Black Friday looking for Toy bargains at various TRU stores, though I fear they are as yet unenlightened as to the best toy on the market.

Any Playmofriends get any Playmo bargains?

Hello

I ran out of dog food while we were out of town and on Friday morning I went out early to pick some up . So while I was out anyways I checked Target & TRU to see if they had any hidden not advertised sales . Target had the 4444 for $1 off  ::) but at TRU I did find the Egyptian soldier pack shelf full. I tried to load up on them while they were on sale but they were out . The sale tag was still hanging so I asked if I could have them for the $13.59 sale price . Patience paid off and I left with 5 packs  :P and some free crayons .

Martin you need to give your friends help in realizing what the best toy ever made is  ;)

Martin you need to give your friends help in realizing what the best toy ever made is  ;)

I'm doing just that. I have three nephews/young cousins of Playmobil age, so last Christmas I gave them Romans, Knights and Pirates as presents. This year each boy gets another present in the same theme, but a big one (Arena, Castle or Ship respectively). I learnt a couple iof weeks ago that two of them are dinosaur mad, so I'm hoping to get some Playmobil dinos into their hands next year, hoping the craze hasn't ended by then.

With another 2 nephews and 5 nieces soon to enter Playmo age, it's going to get expensive!

She is a cutie, but alas I fear we will always be a cat household.  ;)
