Yippee for Emma
This really is a great thread and I love your funny introduction
!!!
Christmas ? I was sprinkling snow over a diorama in early September so what can I say ? From December 1st, I drive everyone nuts at the Hotel with Xmas songs and my popularity reaches the subzero zone until the Holiday Season is over
This year ? A Christmas Miracle has landed in my stocking as I will be off from 18/12 to 02/01 starting with a few days cruise on the Rhine to visit the Christmas Markets of Germany's romantic towns and back home with a suitcase full of gingerbread and artisanal decorations...
Why is this year different ? Because this will be my first Christmas at home in 15 years - Hospitality oblige
- and this is the only present I am looking forward to with lots of cooking, baking, roaring fireplaces, happy conversations and laughters around a glass of grape juice
I will definitely bring my favorite two little Victorians aka Mr & Mrs Macclesfield who will be joining in the festivities as their little tales have not only kept me busy since September but also very much happy.
My Playmobil Christmas Wish is not in the shops and neither have I the talent to create it
"The Adventures of Tom Sawyer & Huckleberry Finn" with the atmosphere of the South, paddle steamers and St Petersburg will remain a dream for me...
So I will just summarize my feeling by saying "I'll be home for Christmas"
Its great to have you back
Karim
It's about time I finally introduce you to
Mr and Mrs Macclesfield - purchased back in 1990 in Carcassonne and who are currently renting their mansion for movies, from what I heard
- and who will be in my suitcase this Christmas :
