I don't even know how to get them from the camera to the computer...

Hello, Jim ...

I'm a lot older than you. So, if I can do it ... you can do it.

First question ... are your photos in a digital camera?
(If your camera doesn't have a roll of film that you have to leave at the corner drugstore to get developed, then you probably have a digital camera.)

If you answered "yes" to the first question, then go to the second question.

Second question ... do you know where the cable is to plug into your Camera?
(You might have two cables. One to charge the Camera's battery and one to connect the Camera to your Computer. You will probably only have the one to connect to the Computer.)
Please look at the first attachment to see what most Camera to Computer cables look like.

Third question ... do you know where your USB port(s) are on your Computer?
(If you don't know what a USB port is ... see attachment)
The second attachment shows the USB ports on the computer and the USB Cable Connector.
IMPORTANT: be sure that the USB Connector and the USB Port line up properly when you connect the two. They should slip together fairly easily. You shouldn't have to push real hard or force the connection.

Fourth question ... do you know where the Camera to Computer connection port is on your Camera? (If you don't know where it is or what it looks like, please look at the third attachment.)

Fifth question ... is your Computer on or off?
Please turn your computer OFF!

Sixth question ... is your Camera on or off?
Please turn you camer OFF!

Connect the cable between the Camera and the Computer.

Turn your Camera ON. There are TWO settings. There's one to TAKE pictures and one to VIEW pictures that you've already taken. Set your Camera to VIEW!

Turn your Computer ON.

The Computer should automatically download ALL your pictures to a photo program on your computer. If it doesn't, then you probably need to install some proprietary software that came on a disk with your Camera. ADVICE ... Call Jimmy and ask him why he didn't already install it for you ...

Good luck, Jim, and have fun ...  ;D

Work? WORK? ...  :(o):

Are you really still working, Jimbo?

This is the time of life to be "playing" with your Playmo ...  ;D

However, I must admit that Susan still expects me to work from time to time ...  :-[

All the best,
Richard

Do you have a "Windows" computer or a Macintosh?

If you have a Mac, Jimbo, I can help you to "work around" a problem.

All the best,
Richard

Do you have a "Windows" computer or a Macintosh

Goodmorning y'all.
We have a "Windows" computer, Richard,.....but my wife said she downloaded all
the pictures last night ;D...now Jimmy needs to "size?" them.  So, this evening,
:prays: we may have some pictures!

Maybe next time I should just send you the whole airplane  ;D

Best regards,
Jimbo
