Plywood Playmobil Triplane

Hi All,
My intrest was awakened again on the Playmobil classic biplane, when
Richard bumped the old biplane thread.

I have always wanted to customize a triplane version of that neat little
plane, but couldn't obtain a few extra to cut up.

Soooo...I thought I would make a similar plywood copy of the biplane fuselage and wings and have a go at a triplane.  The fuselage is the same length and style, but is a
bit thicker at the wing root.  The flight compartment is for a single seat, and I removed the luggage compartment.

I thought I'd do an in progress how to just for fun.

That plane you are making looks very good so far . Thanks for showing us the step by step process on your adventurous project.

 A little gas engine in there and you and Richard could put on a dog fight show for us  :P

Red?  Do triplanes come in any other color? ;D

I'm still "up in the air" on the pilot....got an idea though.

The glue is drying as we speak.
