Yes, it is Hans. Well spotted, KM! :)9

I've been working on some new graphics for Just For Klicks recently, and this is one I have used to illustrate the Nessie-hunting story. :)

I just "stopped by" Just 4 Kl!cks! and stayed for more than a half an hour (and, I still didn't see everything).

Wonderful upgrade, Sylvia ...  :wow:

I was surprised that in the "about us" section, that when you mentioned the closed Guestbook, that you didn't tell your visitors about PlaymoFriends ... ;)

And, BTW ... your Nessie's splendidly brilliant ...

All the best,
Richard

Hi Sylvia,
Like Richard I had a look at Just for Klicks having not visited before, and like him I was there some time.
I loved your 'Nessie' story, the scenery was wonderful and the dialogue amusing!  I was particularly impressed by your piper (its such a shame that Playmobil don't make a figure in a kilt) and his bagpipes. :wow: I must show my son tomorrow as he tried to make some pipes, but nothing as impressive as yours - what did you use for the bag part?
I especially loved the shot of Nessie in the water with the hills in the background.  I have a photo of my eldest boy sitting on the Nessie model, it made me realise it's 13 years since I last visited   :o - I must go back soon.
Thanks for showing us the Nessie photos and thanks Richard for the link to Just for Klicks.

Ah. Good point. I have the link on the home page, but I should add something there too...  :yup:

Hi Elaine,

Thank you for the compliments on the Nessie story. I'm glad you enjoyed the scenery and that it brought back happy memories of a visit to the highlands! :D The photos for the story were shot several years ago (Summer 2003, I think) but it took me about a year to get around to making the pages.

While I was upgrading the site, I decided to make opening pages for each story. The scotsman figure, "Mac," was not my creation. He was made by David Hamer, my partner at Just For Klicks. (I have now added the credit to the title page - something I should have thought to do before. :-[ ) The bag for the pipes was modelled from milliput. I believe the other parts, such as the drones and chanter, were made from wooden cocktail sticks which probably would have been inserted into the milliput before it hardened to achieve a good fit.

Interesting tale about Mac... from humble beginnings as a milkman (so I'm told), he has climbed the celebrity ladder and become something of a klicky superstar. At the moment he is living it up in France, where he was sent for another photoshoot. He appears on one of the pages of Richard Unglik's Playmobil book, La Grande Aventure des Animaux. (see attachment).

When you visited Loch Ness, you might have seen a piper named Murdo Urquhart who played regularly for the tourists near the castle during the summer months. Sadly, he passed away earlier this year. :(

Over the years, it seems that most of the members here at PlaymoFriends have enjoyed solving puzzles and finding things.

There are TWO separate spelling errors on J4K's keychain "mouse overs" ...  ;D
(Don't forget to look at all four: Men, Women, Kids + Animals and Promotional.)

Will our members here be able to find them BEFORE Sylvia corrects them ...  ???

Happy hunting ...  :lens:

Hopefully not. ;)

They've been wrong ever since I uploaded the pics the first time around because I just copied all the info from the old "alt" tags. :-[ Before, you would only have seen the tooltip descriptions using Explorer, but I'm now using "title" instead so it'll work on other browsers too.

Have you reloaded the pages? ???

I already found sheriff and skier. You'll have to point me to the other ones.
