Thank you Gordon, for the great review of this often unappreciated currently retiring set :wow:! There are many details that make this a very good set for a multitude of projects! Your fine details revealed its great assets that are great selling points that can help people who are on the fence to get it while available through DS while they still can :)9!

Forget about all of the other stuff,....all we need is the reintroduction of the 3526 Fire Engine!

Thank you for sharing these pictures with us as I never knew that Playmobil released that "house on fire" set that looks just like a movie set  :wow: :wow:!!!

Ain't that the truth!!  Thank you for the review Gordon, you probably just pushed me over the fence (need to quit reading about other themes!).

The flames and smoke are part of the printed design on the house which in some ways is rather a pity as if they had been stickers they could have been put on in different places and it would have been possible to construct a terrace of, say, three houses with only some of them on fire.

I have to agree that it is a pity that we can not have the building not burning and use this piece as a street scene. Maybe we could print our own decals, even in different colors and designs to make a neat little boulevard
If you hear the sound of the bell which will tell you that Grigori has been killed, if it was your relations who have wrought my death, then no one in the family will remain alive. They will be killed by the Russian people. :prays:

That's a great idea Rasputin! Maybe we could scan the building front and photoshop the flames out and alter the colors. I don't have a set so maybe this is not feasible?

I bought one set on eBay and the other was sent to me as a gift.  Currently, it's available through DS.

I just checked the Playmobil USA website, Gordon. And, 5705 seems to be currently available for $14.99 from Playmobil USA.
