Great ideas, I really like this theme also and am looking forward to getting them all . Next they need a helicopter with the logo to land on the mother ship. Maybe the new smaller police one with the winch . That mother ship will need a crane similar to the one in 4468 Dolphin Basin and then and then
If you hear the sound of the bell which will tell you that Grigori has been killed, if it was your relations who have wrought my death, then no one in the family will remain alive. They will be killed by the Russian people. :prays:

Next they need a helicopter  ...

Agreed, Ras! BTW, there is a real Ocean Team that does undersea construction for gas and electric transmission. Their ships are designated CSV (Construction Support Vessel).

As you can see from the attachment, their ship has the helicopter landing pad that you suggested (as well as the cranes).

I have also attached a picture of the back of the 5859 Seaplane box and a picture of a little Playmobil helicopter (7950) that's currently on sale from US Direct Servce for $8.99.

Richard, just to let you know that those are stickers you can or do not have to put on . From what I remember ( over a month now ) those were the only stickers in the set .

Thanks, Ras ...

I've attached a scan of the stickers from the 5859 seaplane. Think I'll order a half dozen sheets from US Direct Service to expand my Ocean Team ... ;)

4472 actually might look really cool as the Ocean Team mother-ship.
see attachment

Great idea Richard! Now you've given me another project to think about  8}!
Forget about all of the other stuff,....all we need is the reintroduction of the 3526 Fire Engine!

I saw this set a while back in the Playmo Collector 3 and have been busy scouring eBay in the hope that I might be able to get one shipped over to the UK. TRU over here doesn't seem to sell the US editions consistently...sometimes they pitch up a couple of years after their US release but mostly we never see them.

Suffice to say, i'm still waiting on eBay...I am sure someone will start selling it before Xmas :crossed:

Claire, If you really want one and can not find one for the $30 they sell for,  I would gladly mail you or any other Playmofriend one (or more  ;)). I do not know what shipping would be but it does not weigh much and you could check the shipping with my postal code of 95407 CA . Just send me a PM

I must say that I fell in love with that seaplane from the moment I saw it !!!

My dilemma will be : how to introduce it smoothly in my dioramas  ??? ???

Hmmmm...let me think...well, Santa could come in his own seaplane in Miracle on Regent St   !!!

I can already see the scene with the horses running away from the carriages, hats being blown away, and what about my fake snow effect ??? Hmmmm...maybe not after all...

Karim, just do the reverse of what they do on TV. Instead of doing a dream/memory sequence you could do a fantasy/future sequence. "Wouldn't it be wonderful if one day they made machines that could fly in the air and land on water..." Think H.G. Wells  ;)

Good idea, Tim.  I'd got as far as thinking Karim could do a Hollywood studio diorama for "Around the World in 80 Days" and have the flying boat in that, you know the way Hollywood slips anachronisms into films.
