Hi everyone! After my last episode Part 5 of this picture story series, I realized I had painted myself in to a corner so to speak! I said that PCPD command told all personnel that a no kill policy was in force to bring the suspect into custody alive for interrogation purposes! Well, I realized PCPD did not have any nonlethal weapons at its disposal for this type of situation! Not good! Back to the work bench,....& thanks to Tim_W for his recent creation of custom weapons to equip his ARV unit
! With some of his cutting edge ideas, I was able to create a rifle to be a rubber bullet shooting nonlethal weapon as long as it's aimed below the head area. The second weapon designed was 2 Taser pistols that shoots 2 electrical wires into an unruly perpetrator, & can repeatedly shock the perp every time the trigger is squeezed incapacitating them until they are properly restrained. The new nonlethal equipment was rushed to the scene, & the SWAT personnel were able to use them in their apprehension of the suspect. All weapons in the nonlethal category have a bright yellow stripe to designate them as different from the lethal types to prevent confusion. Although it's hoped that the nonlethal weapons will be the only force needed to achieve a peaceful outcome, the normal pistols, & rifles will be within easy reach of the SWAT teams offering them protection, & prevent the suspect from escaping if a high level of force is required. I hope you all like this part of the story! Thank you Tim_W for the great ideas for the new generation of rifles!
