The first is the Victorian Emporium which you will have spotted in the Dr Who video for those that have watched it. Finally manage to finish it yesterday and take some good photos. (For those who are wondering about the sign I've left space so that I can put some ones name above the door depending on who buys it.)
Personal favorite for me; Nice use of recombinatorics to create a realistic small shop (¿looks like maybe a cofee shop perhaps?).
If I’m jealous, you did SOMETHING right. Keep it up. :D

I love your rooms Emma, especially the reading room and dressmaker's. The Halloween video was also enjoyable and very clever, keep up the good work and thank you for sharing with us! :wow:

  Hello every one.

Well I'm sorry I've not been on here for a while I've been very busy. I've recently started a new job so I've just been short on time.

I have managed to do a few new things I'd like to share. I've a new very short video on You tube of an artist studio which was a nice little project in blue and white.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JdwFHqfx_Ow

My next video will be of the Chocolate Shop I've just finished, soon as I get chance to take the outside pictures. But here is a sneak preview of the interior. It's been a long job as I've hand made all the chocs and most of the cakes 8}

I've missed all the news so I'll propably need a few days trying to catch up with everyone else's. :o So I look forward to catching up with you all. Emma

Hi Emma,
Somehow I'd completely missed this thread!  Having looked at all your photos and You tube videos all I can really say is WOW!!
Your sets are fantastic, I really enjoyed your Sherlock Holmes and Dr Who video (I loved the Florence Nightingale figure).  It really must take you hours to complete each set; do you paint all the furniture and print all the papers, magazines, chocolate wrappers etc. yourself too?
Thanks for showing us all your photos - I'll make sure I look out for the next ones.

Good Luck with selling your sets,
Elaine

Hi Elaine,
thanks for the comments and having the time to look at my videos, I've a few more to put up soon as everything is ready to sell.
Yes it can take a long time to do some of the sets. I design all the room wallpapers myself and make up my own signs for the shops - some are better than others  ::)
I also print out the papers and mags, and yes even paint the furniture and the buildings.
The basic rooms would take a couple of nonstop days to do. The larger ones a week, and the big buildings like the chocolate shop took about a month. It would have been quicker if I didn't make my own food, but that's half the fun!  :yup:

I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that every thing will sell as I'd like to buy a second Victorian fence and some of the Egyption items.
Emma.

Hello Gepetto,
I did have a lot of fun making the truffles as it was the first time I'd tried doing these. The hard part was stacking them all up, by the end it wasn't just my eyes rolling there were a few choice words floating about as they kept rolling of my table! :-[

That chocolate shop is gorgeous. I manage a ("real life") chocolate store myself, and it looks wonderfully realistic for the period. :)
