I just ordered mine - found an ebay seller who ships to North America for 10 euros, as opposed to 25 charged by Fantasia-Verlag.  (Ouch.)  Looking forward to it!

Hi,

I think your opinion is crap. I personally have met Axel many times and I have contributed a fair amount of pictures. The Playmobil Collector is intended for collectors and others who simply want to use it as a picture book or a reference guide. If you would put in pictures of the backside of the boxes as well it would be too costly and double the size.

I don't think it's possible to please everybody and I'm sure most people are interested in the front of the boxes.  As playmoed says, having the backs shown as well would make the whole thing too expensive and also much bigger physically.  As it is, it's possible for someone else to fill the gap in the market and produce a version showing the backs of the boxes.

I believe Heather's database serves the purpose you describe.

mmm - a very bold statement. And without any true arguments as well.

Unfortunately, what you want is simply not possible. If Axel would include all the backs of the boxes then it would be at least twice the size (and it's already huge!). Include the a readible inventory as well and it would be at least four times the size!

Besides, it does exactly what it says it does - it gives a overview of produced sets. And I for one think it's wonderfull. I have been using it since the first edition was released and it has never disappointed me.
That's more then can be said of you  :'(

To list the inventories, as well as being impossible in terms of the size of the book (it would have to run into volumes) and cost, listing the inventories would also be misleading to users as part numbers change and parts are only available for a limited time.  As Klickus Mobilius says, PlaymoDB serves the purpose when it comes to inventories.
