Hi guys,

My new Playmobil Collector 3rd edition arrived this morning and I must congratulate Axel on yet another job well done!!! 

 :woohoo:

Now i'm destined to spend the rest of the day studying it.   The main difference in this book is that there are very many more pictures of exclusive sets and also sets produced under license in various countries...fascinating!

This book is a must-have :)9    :wow:

Sounds like I'll have to get my hands on a copy ASAP. 8-)

Did the full page ad for PlaymoFriends make it in? It would be in the back pages somewhere.

I'd love to see a photo of the printed ad if you have a camera handy, just to see how it looks when printed. :)

the ad made it in and does look great...can't seem to get a decent, non-blurred picture with my camera though!

Hi Gordon,
i ordered mine from a german ebay seller and it arrived within a few days.....i noticed that amazon.de also have it in stock though.

As i have been studying it in closer detail i have noticed that it also has pics of the US only sets to be released this year including many blisters and new blue box pirate, knight and vet sets...my bank balance is set to take a major hit this year i think!!!  :lol:

does anyone know when and where they will be available in the states, or do i need to order it internationally.  if so, is there an english website anyone can recommend?  i purchased my 2nd edition long after it was released, so it was easier to find.  thanks

I bought my second edition from www.fantasiaverlag.de which is a German supplier but with an English option on the website. Alternatively, you may find a German seller on ebay.com who will ship worldwide.  Search on with the words playmobil collector and the worldwide option.  Here's one possible supplier:

i agree with gordon, ebay is probably your best bet. i bought mine from a german seller collect-it-de. it cost 22.90 euros and 5 euros postage, although to the US i guess postage is probably a bit higher. i would definately recommend the book and this seller.

I'll follow up your recommendation, Claire.  In my previous post I just selected a seller at random as an example, so it's good to have a recommended one.
