Children's headgear
« on: February 27, 2009, 17:04:13 »
Hi guys,

Does anyone else find that certain headgear on children pops off easily or with no coaxing at all?  I recently got an older set with children and snorkels - and they won't stay on even if they are just on display. I have had this problem with the hats of some of the new fairy line and also the princess crowns for children in the fairytale line.  I find that the problem mostly involves the ringlet type of headgear (snorkel, open-top crown, halo) and not proper hats (many of which are stretchy and fit fine).

Can I fix this somehow?

If you do figure it out i would like to know . I seem to not be able to get the ring crown to fit the little anges w/ golden wings and like you, if i breath on it it pops off  :(
If you hear the sound of the bell which will tell you that Grigori has been killed, if it was your relations who have wrought my death, then no one in the family will remain alive. They will be killed by the Russian people. :prays:

I've come across quite a few little princesses who refuse to wear their crowns. It's maddening!  >:(

I thought it was because they were too tight, so I tried shaving a bit of plastic off from the inside of one crown, but that didn't help. Maybe I didn't cut enough away...?

It's much easier to sort this out when it happens on an adult figure. Swapping the hairpiece for a different one usually rectifies the problem. :)

LOL!  If only....I guess Playmo children are just like real children--they never seem to want to wear what we want them to!  LOL!

When my children were small, the discussion of "I don't want to wear that  :hissyfit:" was done away with, because I made them pick out their clothes the night before, & there were no negotiations for changes the next morning . Also I was also known to use the phrase when it was time to get up, "IT SNOWED last night", to get them up on their lazy mornings  :yippee:, then, Psych! now get ready for school  :evilplan:!
Forget about all of the other stuff,....all we need is the reintroduction of the 3526 Fire Engine!
