i prefer the bumping-head-against-desk method rasputin. 
tears sometimes appear afterwards, it is true. 
i guess we all have different "tastes" when dealing with frustration.

I'm afraid that 3 choices are not enough for me  ! There is no way that I can only pick 3, it's like the Lays potato chip commercial, no body can eat just one, or 3 in this case! When you are a modern theme collector like I am, they all blend together as a complete city environment. You can't have a hospital without the EMS, rescue helicopters, & that connects to the Fire Department, Police Departments, TV crews, city buildings, construction, airport, harbor, farm, automotive, underwater world, new ocean exploration, etc.! I am partial to ALL of the "modern" themes, but what is considered modern? Is not the Antarctica dinosaurs exploration, dinosaur Jurassic era exploration, airport, city, & construction themes considered "modern"? If I was interested in only the "Pirate" theme, it is a very broad self contained theme which can be easy to pick. But if you broke it down like pirate ships, pirate islands, pirate adversaries, pirate singles, pirate rafts, etc., how would you be able to pick 3 out of the group, because they are all connected! If you look at the category list on dbplaymobil, there are many more themes listed than in this poll which is very confusing, so I'm sorry that I can't pick only 3, & betray all of my other favorites  .

You could argument that you're interested in the animals theme, and that it's modern as well, but there's a lot of animals stuff that interests a lot historic & fantasy collectors, so, we share that field ...

Not entirely suprised to see Knights & Castles come out on top, the theme has been around forever, and if I could pick only one this would have to be it.

I love the era, and the variety it offers. Whether you stick to history or incorporate fantasy elements, there's a huge variety of stock figures available, before starting to customise.

For me, undoubtedly the Victorian Theme which I adore so I voted accordingly...

Actually, I had a hard time choosing as well. In the end I choose Knights, Victorian and Magic.

But I go for the History sets in general (with the exception of all pirates and western sets). In my eyes the Vikings go with the knights. Both are medieval in character.
But I also love my Jungle sets (incl. the Dino's) ... sigh ... decisions, decisions, decisions.

i think it is better that way.
if i were to speak portuguese with gustavo, little jo would speak german with customizer, spanish for aleon and argand, dutch for arab warrior and bill balackhurst and...
  this place would quicly turn into a "babel".
  if many find it so difficult to choose 3 favourite themes, you can imagine the confusion if hesitations were to be expressed in several languages.
