ORANGE PEEL - PRESSED
« on: February 17, 2009, 21:51:57 »

Has anyone else noticed that the forum background looks somewhat like an orange peel flattened by a large truck? ...  8}

:lol:

Funny co-incidence! Just today I was thinking about changing the background again for a more subdued tone.

I swapped my PC monitor for a different one and was quite alarmed when I visited PF and saw the difference it made to the background hue. :o

On my old monitor it's like a rich, but mellow, golden yellow colour, but on this one it's so bright I feel like I need to put on some sunglasses! 8-)

It's quite bizarre how different things can look depending on the type of monitor you have...

That is funny, on my monitor it seems soft, like saffron rather than the lemon curd yellow it used to be! Anything subdued would be welcomed by these weary eyes :-\!

Exotic, Gepetto?

How about some of your lovely Hula girls, Sylvia? ...  ;D

And, some of those drinks with little umbrellas served by the swimming pool?

Richard,

The color and design reminds of a Balinese or Thai print fabric.

If you hear the sound of the bell which will tell you that Grigori has been killed, if it was your relations who have wrought my death, then no one in the family will remain alive. They will be killed by the Russian people. :prays:

Alas, up here in the North Country our libations are served in pints not  like in your neck of the beach Richard  :lol:

Too my monitores (the ones at the office and the ones at home) the background looks all nearly the same soft yellow.

Maybe you should check your monitor setting, Sylvia  ;)
