Freight Town Pics
« on: February 09, 2009, 00:51:25 »
After seeing some amazing scenes and pictures here on Palymofriends I've been inspired to attempt some more detailed scenes on my own train layout. I have included a link to a set of pictures from my Flickr photostream:

I hope you enjoy. I'm still adding details and taking more pictures so I'll be posting more as I go along...

Here's a sample pic to get you started
What's the point of going, if you can't get there on a train?

Thanks Gepetto, Wonderland5. I'm still practicing the camera work. It's easier to make a nice scene than it is to photograph it! Practice makes perfect I guess.

That's a very well-detailed and seriously impressive layout, gloobey.  And excellently photographed.  Thanks for sharing it with us.

Nice layout with lots of buildings and sets.  The cobblestones are great are they just stickers or did you print them up?

Do you have any more overhead shots - like this one:  Helps to get a sense of scale and how the town is put together.

And thanks for posting.
