I agree with entirely, Lars.  I think the plastic appears to be thinner than the Playmobil partly because of the larger size of the Bruder vehicles (they are 1:16) and also because the type of plastic is possibly different in its composition.

Well, this morning the 3D catalogue fed in almost instantly and I spotted the 3D view "marker" on some of the pages but couldn't get it to work, so some progress made but still some to go.

Hello, AMD ...

There are some really great figures in these sets.

They remind me of Tolkien's Middle Earth.

Anyway the shield looks strange to me: what should be protected by it? Clowns feet?

... Clowns feet? ...

pssssssssst! Not so load; they are rather sensative about it. They prefer the term "footdisplacement challenged".
... and then dusk came and brought despair.

I'm curious about how he handles it, at the back, to wander whether it can actually be used. But, again .. I don't think I'll have one of these :hmm:

(I still don't know what to do with that crazy "bend" sword! .. it's on the spare pile ...)

Anyway, I agree, and I think that's the idea. Not my favourite. They'll pass like firebrigades and policemen ::) ... I'm sure it'll generate a whole new group of playmofriends, though ... I honestly hope so! ;D :yup:

Fun!
