It does indeed look like a part number to me.
Question is - part number of what ???

he has arrived.
it is confirmed, it's an 2007 made in malta promotional pirate.
inside its plastic bag there is a number printed in the leaflet - 30898282.
does anyone know what these numbers mean?

Could that be the part number of the leaflet, itself?
U.S.A.      Massachusetts

I placed a recent order with Playmobil USA and they sent me a similar Viking promo.  Unfortunately I don't have any pics or a set number, but it was a figure from Malta with the following parts:

blonde stringy hair and ragged short beard
white shirt
blue pants with yellow boots with ties
dark grey helmet with eye and nose guards
silver axe
white round Viking shield with no printing or sticker

Has anyone else received a similar figure?

Justindo , is it the same one that Sylvia has a picture of near the top of the page ( reply #2 attachment ) ?

I have a shipment coming soon and now I am curious as to what I will get
If you hear the sound of the bell which will tell you that Grigori has been killed, if it was your relations who have wrought my death, then no one in the family will remain alive. They will be killed by the Russian people. :prays:

Yes, that's it!  I completely missed that picture, but now that I look at it I also received the female klicky with the white voluminous skirt a month or two ago.

A very high percentage of parts with numbers that start with 3089 are made of paper: stickers, instructions, or other cardboard bits, so I wouldn't be surprised if Indianna is right.  (If there's a date printed with the number, that would clinch it.)  I have a few catalogues in the database, but not too many, and not that one.
PlaymoDB.org has catalogued over FIFTY-FIVE THOUSAND parts in more than 6100 sets. Come and visit to find any set or part numbers you need to know!

he arrived.  :yup:
more than 2 years later (http://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?topic=808.0) i found one.  :)
i call him "2000" because he came with a 2000 leaflet.  :hmm:
he has nothing very special about him but he looks o.k.  :)
please note the hair in the back - unusual?  :-\
the little card that comes in the bag says 3080 359 0 (made in malta).
now i am only missing the "all white" promo pirate.
