The detail is excellent  :wow:! I'm speechless in regards to realism! Keep us up to date as you go! I'm going to have to try Mighty Putty on something just to see how it works 'cause you've done so many awesome projects with it, & now JB Weld, OK !
Forget about all of the other stuff,....all we need is the reintroduction of the 3526 Fire Engine!

Excellent work, Jimbo.  The gun looks particularly good with just enough detail to say what it is without going over the top with a lot of detailing of controls.  It reminds me of a probably 1:72 scale Dinky Toy (?) anti-aircraft gun I inherited from a cousin when I was a youngster.

How many more deck-hands are you planning on?

Hello, Jimbo ...

Thank you very much for letting us watch you create your U-boat!

It not only lets us see how much thought, time, energy, love and care that you're putting into this wonderful project, it also lets us almost feel like we're somehow participating.

This is really exciting to see!

Thanks again and all the best,
Richard

Hi everyone.  Thanks for the great comments, much appreciated :yup:.

You would be surprised as to how much everyones comments and
encouragements have moved this project along!  So in actuality, you
all are participating in the project.  Many thanks!

There is a possible mess cook for an additional crew member, I just need an apron.

I'm working on the AA gun for the wintergarten......never know when a pesky flying
boat will come out of the sun.

Sanding, drilling, gluing,
Jimbo

We're hoping to have our squadron armed and operational long before you're able to slip away into the open sea ...

Pictures coming soon ...

Ahoy, Playmofriends.  The sub is finally finished! :yippee:  I think all the pics
speak for themselves.  I used playmo handrails for the ladder on the right
side of the conning tower.  (Starboard side that is ;D)  The compas forward
in the conning tower is playmo also.

A kilcky can actually operate the AA gun on the wintergarten :yup:.

The radio wire insulators are fishing swivels...they look kinda like the ones
in my books.

The next photo will be under way to the Atlantic.......

Prepare to cast off!
Jimbo

Beautiful Jimbo, absolutely beautiful! :wow: :wow: Enough detail to capture the spirit of the original, yet spare enough to keep it clean, wonderful job, your sailors are excellent also!

Glad we were able to help!
