Thanks Gepetto, Looks like a lot has been added in the last day or so . Like the 5705 Fire starter set that strangely commanded a high price on ebay . The return of last years blisters and Halloween pumpkins (after the holiday). and lots more in other themes

It's a shame, though, that it sometimes takes forever for the "available" stuff to go active (note if you try to buy it, it says "not available").

wait a minute those pictures are of books written in Russian. You were able to learn to read? I struggle now-a-days to read and i have very few to speak with  .  

Hi Ras, I can read and write elementary Russian, or at least could when I was studying it.  My vocabulary has dropped so low that most of the 50-syllable words otherwise known as Russian have left my grasp.  I could read sixth-grade level books with the help of a dictionary (aka a book called a "reader", in simplified language).

I am really suprised to see some of the blister packs listed on their site, I wonder if this means that other retailers could order them? I had never seen the veterinarian and foal blister before and their prices are better than Fred Meyer or K Mart (strange).

Has anyone noticed that the Roman add on figures and only the Romans are now $9.99 on the U.S. web site?  Can anyone explain this or is it a mistake on the web site?

I did notice and I don't think it is a mistake. I am going to very quickly buy my Romans from a vendor who still has stock for $8.99!!

I could be mistaken, but I think there were a lot of price increases to various sets.

I have to admit I did not pay attention to the prices of the sets just the specials and the figures, also noted that the Western theme did not appear with the other new icons.

Oh, I see, Captain Money Bags don't need to pay no attention to prices. 

 

But seriously, PM USA's pricing is frequently inconsistent.  I haven't figured out whether this is sloppiness or related to some underlying cost we don't know about (example: the white tigers and orange tiger add-ons are not priced the same).

Obviously, for discontinued sets, the lower pricing reflects lack of demand.  But does it mean one color of tigers is in higher demand?  Or, that one color of tigers is more expensive to make?  Or, is it just carelessness?

Actually, yes different colours do have different production costs, so maybe one lot of tigers is more expensive.  My wife is a qualified analytical chemist and used to work in the paint trade.  Green paint is the cheapest paint to make and red one of the dearest, if not the dearest because it is a semi-transparent pigment and so you have to use a lot of it to get the coverage.  But who wants green tigers?
