The Hans-on method did cause a tiny smear on the leg paint (not entirely unexpected), so I'd advise anyone disassembling these particular figures to use the shoestring round the neck method.




The high priest remains unchanged, but his sidekick gets the castoff body & arms from the Pharoah.

Nice looking Klickies Martin. Would a piece of paper or cardboard help stop the smearing ?

No, I used paper/cardboard padding as I always do, but it still smeared.

Better to use a bootlace round the neck and avoid touching the legs at all.

Martin, I like your customized pharaoh a lot better than Playmobil's!  I may do something similar myself.  I'm sorry, however, to hear about the smudging using the Hans-on method.

I like how Playmobil is creating hats without a hairline.

My attempts to shoot for medieval fashions based on pictures books is hampered because the women's hair all show prominently.
