Bugs ... ??? ...

We are one hour later than the East Coast ...

Yes, the windjammers are here as well ...

It is beautiful at night ...

And, where's Meg ... ???
She asks for a map and I post one and she's gone ...  ::)

Well, the occassional windjammer makes up for the cruise ships then  ;D

I don't know where Meg got off to, probably night-time things ;)

As for bugs ... I was thinking 'tropics', which made me think Costa Rica.  I loved Costa Rica, but they had the biggest bugs I've ever seen  I almost put my hand down on a spider that was larger than my hand  :o  Regardless, it's still one of my favorite places  ;D

Yes, I'm afraid that bugs and tropics go hand in hand. However, growing up in South Florida sorta made me used to them.

We have lots of lizards. Beautiful birds (in fact we have lovely parrots up at our house that's under construction). And, various other little critters. But, no snakes! And, actually nothing that will hurt you!

It's about as close to paradise as most of us will ever get ... ;)

It's a great place to spend the Holidays or a lifetime ...

All the best, Mal,
Richard

Birds and lizards I can deal with (as long as they're not in my sleeping bag!) ;)

Well, I'm off for the night-time routine with the little guy.  Have a lovely evening!  I hope we can 'chat' again tomorrow.

I told DH he'd have to join PF if he wanted anymore train questions answered ... he might join after Santa visits ;)  ;D

Richard,
Are you building within Charlotte Amelie, itself?

Its obvious to me that you are up on the ?hill that is the northern side of Charlotte Amelie

How far is the port from your home?
And where are you staying now, if your new home is being built?

Meg, ever curious

Mal...re: late night train help. Call Tim (Tiermann) in Oregon. I've his home phone. ;)  He knows trains and is out West with me. Or call me and I'll commiserate.  :-\

Richard Never ask where a Meg goes when she goes. It's a Ninja secret and I've a blood oath not to tell.   :-X She will come back when the moon dictates.

And stunning view by the way. :D

The Charlotte Amelie Ferry stops early in the evening, around 8:00 pm if I recall correctly

The Red Hook Ferry runs til midnight, but then no cars.

So where is the Town house located?  There are no views of the port.
The Town house is a very nice place, though with little room for Playmobil ;)

Where in St John did you have a home?

When is the construction supposed to be completed in St Thomas?
You will give us a photo tour, right?
