RUFFLE
« on: September 09, 2008, 11:43:39 »

Hello, Starhorse ...

I started a new topic because PM doesn't allow attachments. And, I really do think that a picture is a lot better than just words.

Hi Richard,

I figured I would just PM you directly rather than open a "what is this" topic, since I imagine you can answer it quite easily.

I've looked through Playmodb, as well as tried several keywords but for the life of me I can't figure out what the "ruffled" neck piece is from that is used in many of  Ralf Gemein's customs.

example:  http://www.gardenwargaming.com/RalfGemein/images/Specials/spanier-1.jpg

Can ya help me out?  :)

The ruffle was used on several of the clown Klickys.

It's 30 03 1050 - Ruff, zigzag.  I guessed at its use in 4514 - Pierrot, but it and the clown's other accessories were confirmed in 4061 - Circus Wild Animal Act.

When stumped for a search term, try the categories, like Wearable/Neckwear.  They're not perfect - and some may give LONG lists - but it will give you a full page of possible search terms, and for the smaller categories, you can turn on the pictures and scan visually.

ditto, I'm ordering some of those for my Spaniards now - I didn't think they had a known part number.

Yes, I'll definitely have to see if they have any available in my next parts order.

That seems like a lot for such a small part, I'd have hoped about 10p each in the UK, so maybe 20c in the US, but Playmo spares pricing often seems random, and when you need ruffles, nothing else will do, because RRRuffles have ridges.
