The Royal Blacksmith's shop
« on: August 11, 2008, 00:39:38 »
Hi Everyone,

I finished my first Steck Castle custom a couple weeks ago, and finally got around to posting some pictures of it on my blog.  Please take a look and tell me what you think:

Or http://luke-walton.blogspot.com/2008/08/playmobil-photo-post.html , for future looks :)

It's wonderful, Sh! I simply love it!: It's my style!, common, medieval playmo, sort of thing I hope to do myself, as soon as I get a few houses & at least one castle ...

Congratulations!
Splendid work! :wow:

Very good, Starthorse.

I really like the way it looks as if it's a outpost or something. Lovely!

Beautiful set up, Starhorse, really excellent. I wish Playmo would see that this sort of thing is no longer possible (or at least easy) with their current product line, and would add back the things that make the Medieval world come to life, rather than focus on death.

WONDERFUL!  :cloud9:
This reminds me on the beauty of the medieval steck buildings...

And just great pictures... ...they capture a lot of this atmosphere...  :yup:

Thanks for the compliments everyone.  A lot of credit must go to my wife for taking the photos.  She's quite a good photographer, so I'll be having her take pictures of future Playmobil customs and dioramas.

Wonderful set-up and photos! 8-)

It's obvious a lot of love and careful thought has gone into creating this detailed scene.

I especially like the way you made a simple pallet-style bed by removing the ends. Clever! 8-)

Thanks for sharing this! :)
