That's a must have truck for display on my shelves, thanks for bringing it to my attention Andi. :)

 I had to look at the real truck image twice just to make sure that it hadn't reversed into the tent.  8}

 So what is the tents purpose, is there a display inside it that has been unloaded from the trailer or is it just a covered waiting area before you climb into the trailer to view a display. ???

What do you call these trailers in English - semi-trailer?

 I work on trucks and trailers all day and we would call that type of trailer a curtain sider, because it has large curtains either side.

The tyres on it are super singles, size 385/65x22.5 which means the tyres width is 385mm, the sidewall height is 65% of the width and the rim diameter is 22.5 inches. ;D

Thanks for all the technical info, Gareth :)

I know that this specific trailer is called a curtain trailer, but what is this group of trailers (long trailer with "a lot of" axles" ) called?

I notice on the Herpa site that stock is already getting low.  They have a traffic light system and it is showing red and amber already.

BTW, looking at the latest releases catalogue from Herpa, it says this truck is "the first of several transportation vehicles of Playmobil from Dietenhofen".

This traffic light showing both red and yellow means that the item is not yet available, but that it's going to be in a few days (or a month).

I have, as you, also noticed the text/info underneath the Playmobil truck and I am very much looking forward to seeing the next models in the series.

Of course, get ready to go.  I was working backwards! Just amber would mean stocks were running low.  (This explains a lot about the problems I have driving! ;D)

Today I've received my two Herpa models.

They are in the usual Herpa quality and I think the pictures speak for themselves :)
