It's a wonderful model and as I'm also a Herpa collector it couldn't be better 8-)

I have also taken a closer look at the new Herpa catalogue for July and August and it seems that there will follow more PLAYMOBIL vehicles

does anybody know what that truck carries around ? To have three rear axles it must be heavy . I could not imagine fully loaded with blue boxes it could weigh enough to justify the three. Or do german trucks have different weight to axle ratio differences ? around here trucks weighing in at 80,000 lbs only use two axles but they are dually's so it would make 8 rear tires . are those singles making only 6 rear tires ?

Just wondering if there is some sort of super heavy secret ride made of steel in there or something  :hmm:

Usaually the trailers here in Europe have 3 axles regardless of what they are transporting.
You can try to take a look at the Danish wikipedia site where there are several photos of European trailers.


What do you call these trailers in English - semi-trailer?

What exactly do you mean ???

Herpa has made two models in the same scale as PLAYMOBIL called Playcars. There were a BMW (two different colours) and a Mercedes-Benz? Are those the ones you are thinking of?

around here they are Tractor-Trailers or Semi's.
