Playmobil again in Brasil
« on: May 17, 2008, 17:43:02 »
A Brasilian playmoboarder told me that there was going to be Playmobil again in Brasil, so I decided to search news.

I wrote to the enterprise he spoke, and the sac ("serviço de atendimento ao consumidor" or sac, as we say ... a customer's info service) wrote back.

I said that I had heard that Sunny Brinquedos was about to launch Playmobil again in Brasil, and I wanted news from them.

The girl on the other side answered that yes, it's right, and asked me to keep in touch, so as to learn about more accurate info on products, and where to buy.

I wrote again, asking for a catalogue, and she answered that it wasn't released to public yet, only to sellers. I guess it's about to be launched.

I tried to attach the printscreen of the emails, but it didn't work out (the image is too big), and it isn't worth the time of finding out how to do it. If anyone wish to see it, ask me, and I can send a copy ...

I'm happy, but not impressed. They'll have to conquer my trust.

(If it is like it was with Troll and Estrela, I will have to keep buying through the internet ...)

On the other hand, I'm very happy either way, for Brasillian kids ... No matter how, I hope they may have any contact with Playmo, as well as, somehow, I did. :)

& the rest is about to be seen ...

Good news on this is that I just knew that Sunny Brinquedos' Playmobil will be imported from Geobra! :wow:

Now I am beginning to think that it may work out!

Rather than a screenprint, why not just copy & paste the text?

It'd have been possible ... But it wouldn't have had the same effect.

Then I thought that a description of the situation would be deeper, for the effect of telling the news! ;D I love a good drama! The atmosphere, the tension! ...

Early birthday present for Gus?

It would appear, Martin, that this is probably one of the best presents that Gus could have ever received for his Birthday ...  ;D

Sunny made it just right (or, at least, as I had in mind, and thought about doing myself, in time (...)): even the boxes come straight from geobra Brandstäter ... It only brings a sticker by Sunny, in a lateral part of the box; clean job! Very well done! :yup:

I might post a picture, as soon as I get one (or two ... or three ... ;D )

For the moment, Playmos are still coming through mail.

By the way, Amazon (and mail services) gave me a birthday present, too: last order was to be delivered from 9th to 24th June, and it arrived on the 9th sharp! (Last order arrived into the interval, but not so soon ...)

Now I'll have to survive until possibly august without ordering or buying any (unless little boxes arrive soon at stores in Rio, because, until now, only medium-big and big boxes are around ...); a friend of mine is getting married, and I'm the bestman! (A noble reason for the fast :-\ ...)

& I just found out that I can't collect boxes ... 8} Too bad :( Well, I'll survive. (Even because I WILL collect them, but will have to disassemble them.)

I'll take the (extra money that will have in the) interval (there will be a little extra money, even with the marriage ...) to get a bigger box and, if I can, a chess table of the right size to play chess with klickys ... I can imagine that I am not the first person to think about it :) I've recently spotted the right box, and I already could use some extra space. Especially because of my next order, on August. (Not so many things, but it absolutely won't have room in the two little boxes I've been using.)

If things go according to plans, I'll send for my first timbered house on September! ('Never had one! / Always dreamed about it!)
