a real full-grown bull would be about 60 cm (25 inches) when scaled down to playmo-reality.
Somehow, in a way, the size of the boats may, not be accurate in scale, we could say ... In
"Sawyer's Playmobil" blog, there's in there somewhere* a photo -- very well conceived, by the way ... -- of a long-boat being lifted up as though it was to be brought into the ship ... Well, in the actual ship, there's no room for a long-boat ... (This is even the reason why the picture concept is perfect: it deceives us, and makes us think that it's possible to do that with the playmobil ship we have ...
)
The boat is maybe a bit smaller than an actual ship, in scale ... As well as the Roman galley is much smaller than an actual one, which would have plenty of people inside, rowing (...).
In a way, it makes sense that the whale should be made smaller as well. It's, on another hand, to be thought that, in what concerns scale, it's a baby whale
The ultimate purpose of Playmobil is to be a toy, after all ... (...)

i have seen a lot of these animals in the atlantic slowly swimming near the surface although they all dived very quickly whenever i got into the water.
they are huge and no doubt this playmo-whale can only be a juvenile.
Have you actually seen them?!
