I like this picture, particularly (attached), because it shows how playmobil is effective in reproducing some so detailed human aspects: the hat fulfills its function perfectly! ;D

I love  that photo, Gus !!!

It looks like Fred is really standing there. The shadows are perfect. And, you do a great job of keeping everything in focus. That's something that I really need to practice doing.

Thanks for your wonderful photo-shoot of Rio.

All the best,
Richard

Hunstanton

Hello, Gordon ...

You and Diane really take some wonderful holidays!

Thank you very much for sharing your trip to Hunstanton. Your photos and narrative are brilliant! ...  :wow: ...  :wow: ...  :wow:

I've already looked at your photos several times. Your pictures of the sunsets, of the "striped" cliffs and the variety of beach formations are absolutely stunning!

However, I'm also quite fond of the photo showing the large Playmobil Roman soldier standing beside a rather familiar fellow to all of us here at Playmofriends ...  ;)

Thanks again and all the best,
Richard

What a splendid day for Fred and Maisie!

I love the photos.  You are a good photographer.   :wow:  I am especially impressed with the photos in the aquarium.  Since I did not see any reflections of a flash and I assume you did not take a tripod, I'm guessing you used a high enough ISO to allow for handholding the camera in a dark environment.  My favorite photo was of the baby ray while Fred and Maisie watched.

Take Fred and Maisie on more trips!

Gordon, your last photo, with the baby ray, looks like an alien being from outerspace greeting Fred and Maisie. That is one of the most incredible photos that I've ever seen.

Bravo, my friend. Bravo !!! ...  :wow: ...  :wow: ...  :wow: ...  :wow: ...  :wow:

Thanks again for sharing and all the best,
Richard

BTW, your very last photo (Seascape 2) is gorgeous !!!

Thank you, Richard, for your very kind comments, they are much appreciated, and I'm glad you enjoyed Maisie and Fred's little holiday.

Diane and I have another holidy planned on the north Norfolk coast, a week walking from Hunstanton to Cromer and M and F will almost certainly come with us.  We've had a good few holidays on that coast or nearby (and in fact I'd like to move there but Diane doesn't really) and like the area very much.  I thought of posting some photos from previous times there in the Playmo-free zone for you, but then I remembered that they are in store and not easy to get at.

And thank you again.

I hope you enjoyed Maisie and Fred's trip to North Norfolk.  The next trip they made was in May in an old bus to the market town of Hawes in North Yorkshire, which I plan to post shortly.  If you have any comments, please remember the separate comments topic.

Wonderful!
Beautiful place, and quite an adventure for Masie & Fred! ;D

Thanks for the tour comments! They made the trip even more interesting to follow :)

( & nice to see you too, having fun, Gordon ;) )

Lovely pictures Gordon, and great to see some of Norfolk again. When you reach Cromer you're a couple of miles north of Overstrand, a smaller seaside town that my family rented in four different years in the seventies, staying at a house called Cliff Cottage, which at that time was a holiday rental. I think it's now a B&B. Cromer was always the noisy town up the coast, though actually it's very quiet and respectful.

When you pass through Wells-next-the-Sea, think of me too, as I spent another 2 holidays there in the most comfortable holiday cottage we ever rented, which had a huge picture window overlooking the salt marshes to the east end of the town.

That makes six holidays on the Norfolk coast, so I guess it's one of my favourite areas too!
