Wait a moment, that's not Fred with her, unless he shaved the beard!

Is she taking her revenge for his fact-finding trip to Copenhagen?

btw, I still think the vicar should have his collar on backwards.

Maybe Fred doesn't want to look like a certain member(s) of Playmofriends anymore ...  :klickywink:

I agree, Martin !!!

Maybe this is how they have the collar in Germany ???

See the attached picture of a German vicar.

How the collar is worn depends on the denomination of the clergyman, although things in the UK are changing.

The picture from LHAAP shows a minister in the Protestant denomination; priests in the Roman Catholic church would wear the "back to front" collar.  In the UK, Church of England and Roman Catholic clergy wear the "back to front" collar, and increasingly ministers in the Dissenting denominations (Baptists, Methodists, United Reformed) do too, although the older ministers often prefer to stick to wearing the traditional "bands" of these denominations, i.e. like the German  minister in LHAAP's picture.

Thanks for the detailed explanation, Gordon.

In Denmark the vicars wear a ruff (See picture).

Martin!: by this time you SHOULD know Masie & Fred's neighbour's brother-in-law, who happened to be married with Masie's niece (daughter of her much older sister), and divorced, and now (he) married to the second cousin of the vicar's sister-in-law's ex-husband! ... :hmm:

Gus, great to see Maisie & Fred safely made it across the Atlantic!

Shame they didn't get sunny weather to go with the beautiful scenery, but I'm hoping for more pictures to show the travelling around your hometown.

Gordon, looks like Maise was enjoying a bit too much champagne before that first picture!

I love the shot with the wedding cake - there can't be too many couples who have had the honour of M&F at their wedding.

Yes, Maisie got a bit carried away with celebrating!

Diane and I have been to four weddings in the last 15 months and this was the first one where one or other or both of us haven't had some function, e.g. taking the photos or leading the congregation in a psalm (me), playing the organ or doing a reading (Diane), so for once we could just relax and enjoy ourselves, as did Maisie and Fred.

Hi Gus, it never occurred to me that Rio was ever anything other than sunny!  Anyway, they've got a taste of some of the sites and can see them again in better weather.
