you are most kind tim.  :wow:
my brother in law is studying in san diego and is visitng us in the end of this month.
i have asked him to bring a lot of new sets (this one included).
as he is the most clumsy guy i know, i am not sure if he will be able to get all of them.  ::)
if he doesn't manage to bring this set with him, i will surely ask you to buy me one.
meanwhile, if you are in need of some european set, just let me know (a few of them are on sale in portugal).
thanks again.
  :)

I think these blister packs are giving people a great opportunity to acquire figures they might have previously missed, so even if we collectors already have the figures, they'll be snapped up. Pirates are one of the best themes to do customs for within the theme too. It's annoying if you've picked up the older figures at an exorbitant price, but at least they're available again in large numbers.

How about a blister pack of the 3631 wandering Monk & the Priest from the 3827 Merry Men's Feast?  I'd buy a couple of dozen.

I saw the original 5814 Pirate blister packs in a display stand on Saturday here in the UK, didn't buy any because I already had several, but I noticed the "wrong" sword was even used in the display artwork.

On a slight tangent, something I noticed this weekend about the skull in the 4581 Special, while continuing my tidying and filing away of parts.

It's not a human skull...

Hey actually I like that pirate blister pack better than last spring's set.

The pirate on the right with the sash and black hair can easily double as a middle eastern sailor.  The left hand guy at least has useful hair and legs.
