Some of my favourites are my American Indians. I have gathered them into their proper tribes. For instance, I have Apache and Sioux Indians that look like Apache and Sioux Indians!
I have Pacific Northwest Indians with their Totem Poles! I have Sioux Indians with their Teepees, Travois and Buffalo!
But, they all came "mixed up" in different sets and figure configurations. I probably would never want to return them to their original historical mis-configurations. (But, I kept the boxes ... just in case.) ...
All the best,
Richard
Hi Richard,
I saw some of your American Indians in your Old Pictures thread, but I'm such a dunce regarding the whole culture I couldn't tell a Caddo from a Navajo.
Could you post & label some pics of your tribes, explaining a little about how they are differentiated?
I'm getting interested in the Native Americans, and would love to be able to make my tribe(s) look more authentic. I visited the National Museum of the American Indian in July last year in Washington, but didn't have long before closing time, and it would take a week to give the museum the time it deserves. I also saw the totem poles in Seattle, but that was back in 2004 and I don't recall much detail (except they were very tall).
btw, seeing your collection, I realise I have this Playmobil thing completely under control, yes indeedy. I think your storage rooms are bigger than my whole house!
